Overview of Abra Boat and Ride
Taking to the water in an Arabian gondola, also known as an Abra boat, is a unique and exciting way to explore the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). These traditional boats have been used for centuries as a means of transportation across the Dubai Creek, and have now become a popular tourist attraction. Fare of Abra Boat:
Abra boats are small and can seat up to 20 people, making it a perfect option for small groups or individuals. They are also very affordable, with fares starting at just 1 AED (0.27 USD). The boats depart from various stations along the creek, offering a great view of the city’s skyline and historic landmarks such as the Dubai Museum, the Deira Souk, and the Bur Dubai Souk.

The aroma is enticing, and the place’s colors and sounds make it unique. Old and modern Dubai have an emotional link for me, from the chilly comfort of Souk Al Marfa to the traditional warmth of Deira Souk.

My Experience of Abra Boat:
I am savoring in Dubai’s history at twilight when our abra boat beneath the futuristic Infinity Bridge. Inaugurated in January 2022, the bridge that connects Deira and Bur Dubai can take approximately 24,000 traffic in each directions every hour. It has an arch in the shape of the infinity symbol, and reflects Dubai’s infinite ambitions as a city of repute and advancement.
A sizable line of passengers waiting to ride the boat back to Souk Al Marfa is visible as it draws closer to the Deira Souq station. I step off the boat as the sun has set and the weather is beautiful. I started out on foot to investigate the oldest trading district of the city.
Deira Souk is one of the city’s liveliest shopping areas thanks to its brilliant colors and thronging crowds. The Deira Souk is a well-liked destination for both tourists and locals, selling anything from spices to souvenirs.
